SPADGERFEST 2024 – Charity event – The BRITTANIA INN
SPADGERFEST is an annual charity event bringing the community together to raise money for two local families that have had their lives affected by a terminal cancer diagnosis as well as many more charitable causes.
They continue every year to celebrate the life of local legend Matt Evans, while also supporting recently diagnosed Nicky Bradley, helping her to create precious memories with her daughter.
Spadgerfest 2024 this year is held at The Brittania Inn, Old Hall Road, Brampton, Chesterfield and starts at 1pm until 9pm, with a massive 8 hours of live music, live DJs, raffle, food, glitter, ice cream, drinks offers, bouncy castle and much much more. There are some amazing prizes to be won in the fantastic raffle!
Formal events like fundraisers require fire safety protocols like maintaining clear emergency exits, accessible fire extinguishers, functioning alarms, and properly maintained electrical equipment to reduce the risk of fires. Event organizers should also consider seeking fire watch services to implement emergency procedures, keep evacuation routes unobstructed, and ensure attendees can quickly and safely leave the venue if a fire occurs.
