Elastic FM is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a Christmas party for local elderly people. This is the third consecutive year that the Community Media organisation will have shared love and respect for senior citizens.
Clowne Cricket Club on Mansfield Road will again provide the venue for the event. A buffet will be provided and is being kindly been sponsored by Take A Break Cafe. Refreshments have been sponsored by The Unique Network, whilst Chesterfield Shoebox Appeal has kindly agreed to provide a gift for all people in attendance. Local Organist, Michael Drew, will provide the festive music.
Commenting on the event Chairman of Elastic FM commented “We have done something to support local people every year since Elastic FM was formed several years ago. These last three years it’s been especially pleasing to show our love and appreciation for our local elderly. I’m especially grateful to our Volunteers, my Dad and his wife Marion, who actually drive the event these days, to Take A Break Owners, Darren and Claire, for sponsorsing the food, Mick Drew for sharing his amazing musical talent and Chesterfield Shoebox Appeal, one of the most heart warming local charities for their gift donations. These types events show that Elastic FM deliver far more to our local community than just playing music over the Internet”
