It’s 9 out and 3 in so far this summer as boss Paul Cook starts the rebuild for the return to the EFL.
First up was Kane Drummond on a 12 month deal from Macclesfield. Remember the other young signing from Macclesfield? Berry worked really well, hopefully it will be the same for Kane.

Second: it’s the guy that’s been the thorn in the Spireites’ side for years (seems like forever) as Paddy Madden signs on a 2 year deal after failing to agree a deal with Stockport. Paul cook jumped in and got his man.

Third up this summer is a (shock) return for ex Arsenal youngster Tim Akinola. Tim spent a year on loan with the Spireites but chose to go to Qatar after being released by the Gunners. Don’t think anyone saw this coming but we welcome him back on a year’s deal.

There’s a few more pieces to complete the jigsaw, but Paul Cook certainly isn’t hanging around to finalise his squad!
