As we move gently or otherwise into 2018, Elastic FM, the Community Media Organisation serving North Derbyshire, has been busy putting together a new Programme to add to its stable.
Monday Mayhem, which starts on Monday 29th January, is being co-presented by two of Elastic FM’s current Presenters – Stuart Haywood & Adrian Wilkinson. Stuart currently presents In the Country on a Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm whilst Adrian, presents ‘Friday Live’ from 3pm to 5pm on – yes you guessed it – Friday!!
The new Monday afternoon programme is going to be from 3pm to 5pm & is going to be a mixture of news, views, music, chat, guest interviews and anything else that the pair can fit into two hours. But primarily it will be designed to take you – ‘gently into the coming week’.
Stuart & Adrian are both excited at the new Show, and have spent several weeks getting together a format that they think will have something for everyone.
The weekly guests will come from the local community and reflect the wide range of arts, sport & politics, to name but three, that are part of the area served by Elastic.
The new programme comes at a time when Elastic FM is due to move into new studio premises in Clowne, and is looking forward to developing not only its current range of programmes, but many more, including, radio journalism & podcasting.
